To my Nana,
I can’t believe it has been a whole year without you. 365 days without seeing you, hugging you, laughing with you, cooking with you, and so much more with you. Happy 365 days of being truly home, in the safe arms of Jesus.
Life truly does not feel the same without you on earth, and it has been a hard year without you. But I find so much comfort in the truth that I will see you again someday.
There isn’t a day that goes by where I don’t think about you and wish more than anything that I could give you the biggest hug.
Thank you for instilling Christ in me and showing me what it was like serving the Lord in everything. You were my rock and the person I looked up to the most.
You were a true light to others, and were a friend to everyone you met. You had so much true joy from the Lord and were beyond special. Papa misses you dearly, but we are keeping him company and he has stayed strong.
I have really stepped out of my comfort zone this year and strived to leave behind a legacy just like you did. I pray I can show my love for Christ to others just like you and make as big of an impact that you did on others. You showed me how to love like Jesus, and I pray I can show that love to others.
You never failed to put a smile on my face or give me the best hugs. You always knew the right prayers to pray, and the right things to say.
I am so thankful for all the sweet memories with you and will cherish those moments forever. Thank you for always loving me unconditionally.
You used to be the one praying constantly for me, and now I pray everyday that I have made you proud. You’re my guardian angel forever. I miss you more than anything but I will see you again someday. Thank you for being the best of the best.
