Forever thankful. Having a thankful heart.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” {Philippians 4:6-7}

There is so much in life to be thankful for. I mean how incredible is it to think of all that God has blessed us with. No matter how or what we pray for, thanking God can always go with it. A good habit to start developing is to start all your prayers with thanking God.

There is ALWAYS something to be grateful for. Even when life is tough, the things in life that are really worth having are the things that money can’t buy. Such as: true friendships, the love of family, and good health. Gratefulness is priceless. Let’s decide to have a Godly mindset and thank the Lord for the good things we do have. God has blessed each and everyone of us with so much, and we have SO much to be thankful for.

It gives me so much peace and comfort to know that, no matter how much we struggle, no matter how much we sin, God still loves us and wants the absolute best for us. We all go through troubles, and we all fall short. But, we should all be so thankful for God’s never-failing and never-ending love. He is with us through it all, and even if you don’t know Him or have a relationship with Him, He cares so much for you, and He has a perfect plan for your life.

Since we are Saved by Grace, we have no right to be judgmental of other people or what they might be going through. We are called to be compassionate, and full of grace of God. There is no hope for us on the outside of Christ, so we should all be in the inside of Christ.

Peace and comfort are some of the most important elements to enjoying your life. A life of constant frustration, and jealousy, and a life without peace is the result of focusing on things you can’t do anything about. When you worry about things out of our control, stress and anxiety begin to creep into your life. Once we realize we are struggling, and ask God to help guide us, and turn the situation over to God, He will provide us with peace and comfort. Jesus came so we could have righteousness, joy, and peace.

 I hope you know that whatever you are facing, whatever you are going through, wherever you are in life right now, our Lord is SO much greater than what you are facing. When we get caught in a bad situation, and start going away from God we sometimes forget that His love is never failing, and that He is NEVER going to let us down. We sometimes blame God for putting us through situations. But in reality we should be thanking and praising God. EVERYTHING in life that you have experienced is a gift from God. You may not know, but God uses every. single. situation. you go through to make you stronger, and to shape the person He is creating you to be. The Lord is so much greater than our pain.

The Lord is so much greater than our hurt. The Lord is so much greater than the trials we face. The Lord is SO much greater than everything we face! The Lord is SO great!!! I hope reading this creates so much peace and comfort, and that you can find a place with God. I pray you can find comfort in the fact that God loves us no matter how bad we fail Him. God is never going to let us down, & He wants a relationship with us. I pray you can find hope and joy in your relationship with Christ, & pray you can bring others to Christ through your journey. God uses everything we go through as part of our story. No matter how you came to know Christ, you have a story, and your story can impact someone’s life. Nobody is perfect, and we all fail and mess up in life. I feel like our world is so judgmental, and we feel like we have to have the perfect body, the perfect friends, the perfect life; and in reality WE DONT. Everyone flaws. BUT, although we all fail, God still loves us and remains faithful. He is so much bigger!! God’s plan for your life is so much greater. Find comfort & love in Christ, & know you are loved!

James 1:2-4 describes life’s troubles as “an opportunity for great joy”. The struggles you face in your life can result in blessings. You just have to trust God even when it seems so hard, and give it time to all work out. God’s great joy is very important. His love is never ending and it never runs out. Joy does not get chased off by trouble, it results in blessings. Make sure you reach for heaven, and spend time in God’s word. Connecting and thanking God daily can be a life-changing way to start living life differently.

I encourage you to spend today thanking God, and finding new things to be grateful for. There is so much in life to be thankful for. Be forever thankful!!!!

I will be forever thankful for not only God blessing me with the best family, friends, youth group, etc. But, also for giving me the strength and the words to say, and giving me this platform to be a light to others, and share His word. He has definitely blessed me, and Saved by Grace has been such a true-incredible outlet for me to encourage and impact others, and I could not be more thankful for you guys, and the love and support. Love you all so much. Happy thanksgiving. There is SO much to thank God for!!
