Discovering hope in Christ.

“Those of steadfast mind you keep in peace—because they trust in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for in the Lord God you have an everlasting rock.” {Isaiah 26:3-4}

I often feel it’s easy to forget about the blessings of God or simply don’t apply them to my life. When faced with troubles, instead of responding with impatience or fear, we should turn our thoughts into the goodness of our great God. This is something I feel many people struggle with that is sometimes hard to grasp on to and do. This causes us to sometimes miss out on the life God has intended us for. God can help you fully know His love, and His love is simply like no other. When you understand and grasp that God loves you completely and He is filling your life with everything you need, this can create an amazing amount of love and hope.

Most of the time hope doesn’t come naturally, and that is something that is very hard for me sometimes. The reality is we have to know God to have hope. This is because, God is our hope. The concept of hope can be so confusing. The worldly hope is different than the biblical hope. The hope we have in Christ is not wishful thinking. The hope we have in Christ is “confident expectation.” God doesn’t expect you to have a mountain of hope, He just needs a seed in you, to grow and sustain you through the good and the bad times. What your going through may seem like there is no victory or end, but your hope is not lost. Be strong and be encouraged that the Lord is your hope.

You are God’s precious child. There is no father like Him. He blesses us with so many blessings. Some of those blessings include: grace, righteousness, forgiveness, adoption, the Holy Spirit, and many more. His spiritual blessing are the greatest and the most beautiful things in the world. Our God is that good. God longs for you to believe in Him through everything you face with total faith, and patience. He wants you to live everyday with hope, knowing He is going to be there every step of the way and give the strength and power you need to push through. Faith is filled with hope.

Jesus tells us He is returning again. I believe this implies our need to stay spiritually awakened. With that being said we should feel so happy to passionately share the gospel, look for hope of our future, and love others more boldly for Jesus. The Lords joy is always available to you. Choose to live from His life, and you will experience a little Heaven on earth each day.

John 10:10-11 says “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.” – God loves us so much that He sent His one and only son , so we could have a relationship with Him. Jesus is the source of our hope. Hope begins with being reunited with God, and then Jesus brings hope to all areas of our life. Living in hope is realizing that nothing is impossible with God.

This past year has been so tough for me. God has put me through so much, but I have grown and God has taught me so much. – We may often go through hard times, and we might feel like there is no way out, but there is because God works all things out for good. Jesus came to earth to conquer death and allow us to have a relationship with Him again. Jesus gives us hope. This is good news we can’t keep to ourselves. We are called to share God’s word, and further His kingdom. Sharing your faith is super important in your walk with Christ. God uses our pain and struggle to make us stronger, and to help us grow! He always has an exact purpose and plan for what you are going through, and through those trials you will find so much hope in Christ.

I encourage you to ask God to take the things out of your life that are holding you back from following Him fully. He loves us fully, and truly wants the absolute best for you. Through and in Christ you can conquer amazing things. You can make such an impact on this dark world. Shine God’s love on others!

Psalms 130:4-5 says “But with you there is forgiveness, that you may be feared. I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in his word I hope;” No matter how bad you have messed up and sinned, God forgives you. We all have sin, but God washes away our sin. There should be no fear, for God is with you always. // You can find so much hope in the word of God. The word of God is filled with absolute truth. His word is the only sole truth. Finding hope and truth in God’s word, leaves me with so much comfort and peace. Knowing God is with me wherever I go, and He has a plan for my life literally makes me feel at such peace, and I have so much comfort.

Hope brings us all together as followers of Christ. Be united, and be involved in the community. Ask God to continue to reveal His word to you, and to give you the courage to share His hope to the world. Is there anyone you should invite to church? Ask God to reveal His next step to you, and let Him guide you in the right direction of His perfect-incredible plan for your life. Find hope in and through Jesus Christ!!!

So thankful for you guys! Lots of love- Carsyn Claire
